The American Paperback Calendar 1982

The American Paperback Institute, Brownwood, Texas. Very large (16½ X 10½ inches).

The concept was by Billy C. Lee, who brought us Paperback Quarterly. The design was by Piet Schreuders, who was instrumental in making vintage paperbacks a topic of interest back in the early 1980's.

I obtained one of these just recently, and either the colors were not very good to begin with, or they've faded a great deal through the years on ALL the pages.

One real oddity is that the weeks all begin with Monday instead of Sunday. (Quite frankly, I think it's a great idea, but it's still a little strange.)

Am I the only one that thinks something like this would be a very marketable item in today's literary society? Maybe I'll give one a try when (if) I ever get the time.
